It’s that time of year : the Sephora Spring Savings Event! I take advantage of this sale every year to stock up on my beauty staples, so I wanted to share my favorite products and top picks with you all so you can get some great deals, too!
Even though we are all stuck inside with social distancing, some of these items are ones you can use now for self care – and others you can bust out when we bust out of quarantine! 🙂 These are my tried and-true beauty go-to’s, but I’ve also included a few wish-list items of mine that I have added to my cart.
Here are the sale details :
- From 4/17 – 5/1, Rouge members get 20% off with code SPRINGSAVE
- From 4/21-4/29, VIB members get 15% off with code SPRINGSAVE
- From 4/23-4/27, Insiders get 10% off with code SPRINGSAVE (It’s easy to be an Insider, it’s free , you just have to sign up!)
Over the years, I’ve really minimized and pared down my morning routine – which usually means less makeup and less time. However, I still love to have fun and put on makeup when I’m going out to a nice dinner or event! But, ultimately – I’ve pared down my makeup to my favorites and essentials. I think you’ll love some of my favorites, too.
Keep in mind, I’m completely devoted to my Emme Diane skincare routine, so you won’t find any skin products on this list – she is the best of the best and I don’t buy anything else!
Ok, so here are my classic, go-to beauty products from Sephora that I use and have stood the test of time, year after year, that I totally recommend – and you can get all of them on sale.
They sell out fast – so don’t wait! 🙂
Maddix bought this palette for me for Christmas one year, and I absolutely love it! I have two sets of these and find that the colors go on really smoothly.
Click here for a whole blog post on why this is my absolute favorite self -tanning product ever! I use the medium/dark shade, and buy multiple bottles whenever they go on sale. I have an entire bin in my bathroom stocked with this stuff!
I have my brows microbladed, but if I want to add a little more oomph to them I use this, using a stiff slanted brush I got like a decade ago. The pot lasts FOR.EVER. I have the medium brown. If you want to amp up your brows a bit, I highly recommend this!
For the longest time, I didn’t think that I needed an expensive hairdryer. I mean, a 10-year-old Conair still dries my hair – so why fix what isn’t broken, right?? WRONG. This dryer literally cut my drying time down by probably almost half. So not only is this a beauty tip, it’s a time-saving hack.
You may have seen or heard me talk about my love for NYX Butter Gloss, but this Buxom gloss is one I have actually been using longer – I just don’t get around to replenishing it as much when it’s out because the NYX one is so much easier (and cheaper!) to buy (they have them at Target.) But the color and texture of this gloss is amazing, and it really plumps up the lips like crazy. It looks super pink in the bottle but once on, it is fresh and bright and pretty.
I think hand cream is one thing that can easily get overlooked in a beauty routine, but when you use it regularly it makes a big difference. Especially now that we are all constantly washing our hands! The mini is perfect for throwing in your purse and travel (when we get out of quarantine!)
I always set my foundation or concealer with this. Lasts forever. It’s a classic for a reason.
This is also a classic, it’s the perfect pink-peach shade with a slight shimmer that creates a natural highlight.
I use this as my bronzer and a little goes a really long way! I put a bit on my forehead, cheeks, and jawline.
I have worn this for years now, typically getting a bottle once a year or so for Christmas or during a sale like this. It’s just a good, solid, feminine but not overpowering scent. I wear this one more during the day, just one spritz on my wrist.
I cannot live without dry shampoo, and after trying several others, I always come back to this one. It smells great, and even though I am a dark brunette I don’t notice that white powdery residue once I brush it out.
This is my more night-time, event, or photos foundation. Its is a medium coverage and has a soft, nice finish. The shade I use is called “Barcelona”.
I bought this earlier this year and am obsessed. I wear it every night but also as a gloss sometimes during the day!
I wear this whenever I need to wear makeup during the day. It gives a dewy, supple finish, and I just pair it with a highlighter and call it a day! I use the medium tan shade.
I have used this for over 10 years now, just one or two pumps on damp hair every time after I wash it and before styling it. My stylist always comments on how healthy my hair is, and I credit this oil. I love this set, because you get a regular and travel size bottle, and you can just refill the small bottle as-needed when packing. I’ve never had it spill in my bag, either.
I have worn this fragrance for years – it’s a great nighttime scent! That’s why I love having this small-sized bottle and refill: you can stick this in your purse and touch up whenever. I think this one is a really great value – you get a good amount in the two bottles and they last a while.
I use this one as an alternative daytime foundation. My color is 5.75, and I find that it’s a bit lighter than the CC cream so when I want a light look this is what I go with.
I started using this lotion last year and I am HOOKED. I have huge bottles of it and my husband uses it, too.
I only have two lipsticks that I wear : this one is a pretty peachy-pink nude (my other lipstick color is MAC’s Creme Cup!)
I used to have this in our powder bath and I’m going to buy it again. This one is one of my favorite scent of theirs – a super refreshing one for spring and summer.
In my cart . . .
Ok, so I do have a few new items I am giving a try that have been on my wishlist :
I haven’t bought any new brushes in forever and I’m feeling like I need a second larger brush for bronzer, so I’m trying it out!
I tried this while I was in London and really liked it. I have used cream based cheek colors and think they give a really nice flush. I just put a teeny tiny bit and it goes a long way.
I think I saw this on an Instagram ad? LOL. Anyway, it looked really pretty and I love the idea of a simple cream shadow, so going with the coppery one for summer.
